Abdul began his professional broadcast career as the main News Anchor for Dubai based City 7 TV's 7NN bulletin.
Abdul was responsible for conducting interviews, script writing, compiling news stories and producing a 30 minute monthly sports show.
News and politics Presenter - Leeds Student TV
The passion and interest in broadcast journalism began during the university years after Abdul signed up for the Leeds University Union's LSTV society.
As a student of BA International Relations, Abdul brought his political expertise to the news team and contributed towards producing news stories related to politics and current affairs.
During his time with LSTV, Abdul was able to organise and conduct one on one interviews with notable personalities such as Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, MP Ed Balls and Dr. Norman Finkelstein.
